Weekly Worship experiences

11am Morning Celebration Service
Each Sunday morning is special at Tabernacle! As you enter the sanctuary (starting after 10am), you begin to feel that you are welcome. Though you may have no great expectations, you just know that you are about to share a spiritual connection. If you are one who likes to arrive early, you have the opportunity to enjoy a time of meditation and reflection.

By 10:30am, if you are already present, you will be joined by more worshippers who are all enjoying a warm spirit of fellowship as verbal greetings are exchanged. During this time, you have the opportunity to continue to prepare for the start of worship.

By 11:00am, it is time for the opening of our Morning Celebration Service. We call it a “Celebration” service because for us, we believe that we have much to celebrate. When we assemble ourselves, we recognize that we are gathered together only by God’s grace and that He alone is responsible. For this and so much more, we give thanks in a very charismatic and audible way.

During our Morning Celebration Service, we believe it is our chance to fellowship with each other in God’s presence, for we understand that if two or three touch and agree; God will be in our midst.

Come, worship with us this week!

8am Early Word
Sunday morning for many in the Atlanta area is a time to enjoy some personal time or rejuvenate from a busy week of work, school and other activities which take quite a bit of energy. However, a spiritual connection is vital.

Having the option to attend our one-hour worship service at an earlier time of day is welcomed for those who would like to have more of the day ahead. Since early morning starts are normal for some, the 8am worship service at Tabernacle is just what they desire.

The doors open by 7:30am each Sunday morning. Until the start time, worshippers have time for meditation, prayer and reflection. Worship begins when worshippers join in singing selected hymns led by the praise leader.

After the preliminary worship/devotional service, the speaker (Pastor Meredith), uses this time to teach his sermon. Those in attendance can take notes to take home with them when they leave. During this time the hearer of the word can use this opportunity to absorb teachings and lessons that will contribute to their personal spiritual growth and understanding
